This furniture was born out of the term obsolescence, in which the idea was to create a furniture that can be preserved as time passes by, giving the design a new purpose. The marble starts to stain when the metal is present or touching the stone and becomes to oxidize with humidity. This type of reaction of the two materials creates a design which is considered timeless and innovative.

In the initial stage of the process the Corten has a yellowish color but with the passing of time, the color starts to change due to the natural process of oxidation.

It rusts from brown to a dark brown color ending in black after being exposed in a humid environment for too long.
