About

Marcela Andrea Blandón Escobar

Architect, Interior designer & Furniture designer who seeks in every day the opportunity of creating and combining existing shapes and colors aiming for uniqueness on her work.
Started her career since the very first semester of her Bachelor’s degree in Mexico as a student in the art of Architecture, during this time she learned and explored the importance of a well-designed structure that can bring joy, quality of life and well-being not only for the individuals but also for a whole community.

Marcela saw as well the harmonious balance that can co-exist between Architecture and Interior Design, and that gave her the curiosity to continue her learning and pursue a Master´s Degree in both Interior Design & Furniture Design. For her, design can go further than shapes and colors; studying and living in Florence gave her another set of eyes and a different perspective on how to integrate functionality, spaces, textures, colors and illumination into her art work.

Currently resides in Germany and works at JCP Arquitectos. Some of her recent projects extend from restaurants and private residencies to corporate buildings.
